FloQast, an innovative accounting transformation platform designed for automating financial and audit workflows through artificial intelligence, has unveiled the establishment of a new hub in Berlin. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to increase its presence in the DACH region.
The newly opened hub aims to strengthen relationships with current clients and partners while also exploring new growth avenues within the area.
To celebrate the launch, FloQast organized a roundtable event in Berlin-Mitte on February 18, 2026. The gathering was attended by 17 senior finance professionals who discussed the evolving landscape of the accounting sector.
Participants highlighted the increasing workloads and challenges related to system integration, along with the rising pace of AI adoption in finance departments. Many organizations are facing expansion in complexity without a corresponding increase in accounting personnel, which exacerbates pressure on existing teams.
Attendees also noted that shared service structures and system integration efforts often lead to additional coordination challenges, inadvertently intensifying friction within teams.
FloQast’s platform offers accounting teams tools to automate various tasks, including close management, account reconciliations, accounting operations, and compliance activities, all utilizing auditable AI.
John Phillips, UK General Manager at FloQast, emphasized, “The conversations we’re seeing across the region are grounded in reality. Finance teams are under pressure to do more with less, while maintaining full accountability for the numbers. Opening our Berlin hub is about being closer to those teams, building trust in the market, and supporting them with solutions that reflect how accounting actually works; structured, auditable, and grounded in financial logic.”
