The latest Y Combinator Demo Day showcased the vitality of artificial intelligence as the leading trend among the nearly 190 companies participating in the Winter ’26 cohort. These startups presented their innovative solutions across various sectors, including law, transportation, and healthcare, on Tuesday.
A Snapshot of Startup Presentations
While the size of this cohort prevented me from listening to every individual pitch, I engaged with the presentations through videos released post-event. Approximately 20 minutes after each presentation, Y Combinator made these videos available online, enabling me to watch the pitches of the startups I found most compelling. From this extensive cohort, I selected 16 standout startups, underscoring the creativity and innovation characteristic of this year’s class.
