SimCorp, a leading provider of investment management software, has unveiled Agent Launchpad, a novel AI ecosystem aimed at assisting investment managers in identifying and utilizing AI agents within its SimCorp One platform.
The new platform offers clients access to a selection of pre-built AI agents developed by SimCorp as well as vetted third-party partners. These agents focus on various workflows such as portfolio management, corporate actions, risk analysis, and operational support. Additionally, clients can create customized agents leveraging data from SimCorp One alongside approved external sources.
Agent Launchpad enhances SimCorp One’s unified data layer, allowing various AI agents to function collaboratively within investment workflows under a shared governance model. This integrated approach is designed to streamline operational procedures, accelerate market analytics, and bolster investment decision-making processes.
Every interaction with an agent generates a structured audit trail that records the data influencing outcomes, the constraints in place, and the agents involved, ensuring that human oversight remains intact for final decisions. To facilitate adoption, SimCorp will also provide a prompt library to help clients engage with agentic AI more easily.
Research platform Orbit is set to become the inaugural ecosystem partner, providing an agent through Agent Launchpad. This FinTech company, specializing in AI-driven research and intelligence tools for financial services, will integrate insights related to company fundamentals, markets, news, broker research, and regulatory information into the SimCorp One workflows.
