Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company Limited (GIEDCL), in collaboration with the Coalition for Responsible Evolution of IA (Core-AI), recently launched the inaugural “Workshop on the Strategic Adoption of Artificial Intelligence in Financial Services” at the Fintech Innovation Hub, Gift City. Opening Remarks and Initial Sessions
The half-day workshop commenced with insightful remarks from GiftCl, which set the stage for incorporating AI in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. Abhinav Nayar, founder and CEO of Mool AI, led the first session, focusing on how AI is reshaping financial institutions and aligning with the innovation strategy of Gift City. Participants delved into specific AI applications across various sectors, guided by Sameer Gupta from Amazon Web Services, who highlighted practical implementations in banking, payments, insurance, capital markets, and asset management.

Following the lunch break, sessions shifted to the regulatory and operational aspects of integrating AI in financial services. Jameela Sahiba and Kamesh Shekar from the Core-AI secretariat facilitated a session on ethical frameworks, governance, and compliance.
