Snabbit Eyes New Funding to Boost Valuation to $400 Million
Snabbit, a Bengaluru-based instant house-help startup, is reportedly nearing a new funding round that could elevate its valuation to approximately $400 million. This financing initiative, led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, could see the company raising around $50 million, although sources suggest the amount might reach $55 million or even higher due to robust investor interest.
Participation from Leading Investors Highlights Growing Demand
The upcoming funding round is expected to attract investments from several key players, including Mirae Asset, FJ Labs, and existing backers such as Lightspeed Venture Partners and Bertelsmann India Investments. This new capital injection marks a significant increase from the prior valuation of $180 million, achieved in October 2025, when Snabbit secured $30 million in funding.
Rapid Growth Since Launch in 2024
Founded in 2024, Snabbit has made waves by connecting households with on-demand domestic help for tasks like cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry. The startup is designed to ensure swift service delivery by leveraging a managed network of workers. Prior to this latest funding round, Snabbit had successfully raised a total of $55 million in various investment phases.
Investor Confidence Expands in India’s House Help Sector
The impending fundraising comes at a time of heightened investor enthusiasm for instant house-help services in India. Competitor Pronto is also finalizing a funding round, reportedly led by tech investor Lachy Groom, achieving a valuation close to $200 million. Additionally, Urban Company, a significant player in this market, announced that its instant home services division surpassed one million bookings in March.
Yardstick of Demand from Young Urban Workforce
This surge in interest can largely be attributed to India’s burgeoning young urban population, who have increasingly embraced on-demand services through mobile applications, including grocery deliveries. This shift in consumer behavior is creating new opportunities for startups like Snabbit to fill the gap in household support.
Key Performance Metrics Reflect Strong Operational Capacity
Aayush Agarwal, founder and CEO of Snabbit, revealed via LinkedIn that the company completed over one million jobs in March alone. In an earlier discussion with TechCrunch, he indicated that Snabbit processed more than 10,000 jobs daily, with total orders exceeding 300,000 by October.
Commitment to Women Workers in the Workforce
As of now, Snabbit collaborates with approximately 5,000 professionals on its platform, all of whom are women, emphasizing the startup’s commitment to empowering female workers in the domestic help industry. Snabbit has not yet responded to requests for further comment regarding this latest funding development.
