HUB2a financial technology company targeting French-speaking regions, has secured €8 million (US$8.4 million) in its Series A funding to fuel its regional expansion.
The company has created a transparent and secure platform that integrates domestic and international financial services, supporting a wide range of payment options.
TLcom Capital led the Series A financing round, with participation from the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank FMO, Enza CapitalFrench public investment bank BPI France, AXIEN, DCG,African Fintech Collective,
Eric Barbier, andENL Corporate Ventures.
Founded in 2019 by Ashley Gaüzère and co-led by Jean-Rémi Kouchakji since 2023, HUB2 provides digital businesses with a unified API that enables efficient processing of domestic and international payments via mobile money, bank transfers, card transactions and cryptocurrencies.
HUB2 ensures broad reach and seamless integration between various payment methods by partnering with leading mobile money providers in the region, including
Wave,Orange, MTN,MoovFree, T-Money and Celts. Leading fintech companies like Djamo, OnafricaAnd Daba Finance consider HUB2 as a trusted collaborator.

HUB2 currently operates in six French-speaking African countries: Ivory Coast, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo and Cameroon. Over the next 24 months, the company plans to expand its presence throughout the region, from Senegal to Madagascar.
