This strategic expansion is expected to generate approximately 2,000 technology and operations jobs, contributing a staggering $6.5 billion to the Kansas economy over the next decade.

Governor Laura Kelly emphasized the importance of this project, stating, “When I took office in 2019, my administration pledged to modernize and diversify the Kansas economy for long-term resilience. The new FISERV center in Overland Park is a significant step toward elevating Kansas to new heights, providing high-value career opportunities for military personnel transitioning to civilian life and graduates from our educational institutions.”
Major Investment and Renovation Plans
FISERV is investing $175 million into this project, which will involve the renovation of 427,000 square feet across two buildings on the Aspiria campus. This marks the largest office recruitment initiative in Kansas history, signifying the state’s growing prominence as a hub for tech and financial services.

David Toland, Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce, noted the significance of FISERV’s decision, stating, “FISERV’s establishment in Overland Park underlines the robust technological ecosystem and business environment in Kansas. The high-salary opportunities generated by this expansion will positively affect our state’s economy, particularly benefiting tech talent and local small businesses.”
High-Value Job Creation
The company is projecting an average annual wage of around $102,000 for these new positions, with future expansions potentially adding up to $4 billion in Kentucky payroll over the next decade.
