Care.fi, an innovative healthcare-focused fintech startup, aims to offer smart financial solutions to the healthcare industry. It recently secured INR 8 crore in debt financing, with INR 5 crore from Wint Wealth (Ambium Finserve) and INR 3 crore in impact debt financing from Caspian. This investment will support the company’s goal of creating India’s first healthcare-focused small finance bank, a vision the company looks forward to realizing.

Sidak Singh, co-founder of Care.fi, mentioned that the company has seen significant growth since its inception and this funding will help expand its loan portfolio.

During the previous financial year, total disbursements increased 4 times, reaching a cumulative disbursement of INR 400 crores. This brings us closer to making the changes needed in the healthcare fintech industry.

At Care.fi, they deeply understand the challenges faced by the market and patients. Our solutions are designed to improve operational efficiency, especially in insurance, at a time when patients are eager to settle their payments and go home.

The goal is to enable healthcare providers to focus on healthcare delivery by addressing their operational challenges or streamlining business processes. This will allow providers to focus on patient care while managing operational and financial complexities.

It can be observed that it is now evolving into a rapidly growing ecosystem and they aspire to continue improving it.

Vikrant Agrawal, Co-founder, Care.fi said, “We are currently focused on two major things: strengthening the team with the right talent and focusing on the expansion and growth of the business. We currently work with over 50 renowned hospitals and have helped over 2,000 patients with their claims. This funding will help us to further increase our market presence and invest in improving healthcare fintech, particularly to optimize the operational part of hospital management.”

Care.fi obtained a non-banking finance company (NBFC) license within two years of commencing operations. This achievement highlights the company’s commitment to transforming healthcare financing in India.

Founded in 2021 by Vikrant Agrawal and Sidak Singh, Care.fi is a fintech startup committed to bridging financial gaps in the healthcare industry.

The company specializes in innovative and personalized financing solutions for healthcare professionals and institutions, facilitating their expansion and operational efficiency. Care.fi seeks to transform healthcare financing through products like CareCred, simplifying financial processes for better business management.
