eToro, a prominent social trading and investing platform, has unveiled the eToro App Store, an AI-driven marketplace designed for investors and developers to collaboratively create, share, and access trading and analytics applications directly through the platform.
The App Store aims to foster a collaboration between developers, startups, seasoned investors, and regular users, establishing what eToro refers to as a new builder’s economy within the investment space. This marketplace will facilitate the creation, sharing, and distribution of financial tools throughout eToro’s expansive global community.
In conjunction with the App Store launch, eToro has introduced a builders portal at builders.etoro.com. This portal grants third-party developers, quantitative strategists, and partners access to a suite of eToro’s APIs, agent skills, MCP server, CLI tools, technical documentation, and additional resources for development.
Through this initiative, partners can deliver applications to millions of users, while individual investors can design and launch their own tools utilizing no-code, AI-enhanced features. This enables users to convert their expertise into scalable offerings for a worldwide audience.
Initially, the App Store will feature a selected range of applications spanning multiple categories. Offerings will include algorithmic trading tools for programmatic order execution, social analytics for evaluating Pro Investors and Smart Portfolios, and market monitoring tools that stream pricing data across digital assets, stocks, ETFs, and commodities. Other functionalities will comprise portfolio management tools for rule-based rebalancing and profit-and-loss tracking, smart watchlist management, and community integrations that allow users to access feeds or publish posts directly from an app.
The rollout of the App Store will occur gradually in qualifying markets, with enhancements and additional application categories anticipated later this year.
