This platform currently offers a variety of services including a website, monthly newsletters, conferences, and webinars aimed at technology leaders within banks and credit unions. Our goal is to help these professionals tackle challenges, engage in peer learning, and connect with innovative firms.

You should possess 2-4 years of business journalism experience, be adept at interpreting financial statements, and have a portfolio of published work that showcases your interviewing and writing skills.

Your Responsibilities

In this collaborative team environment, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating compelling editorial content related to banking and fintech that resonates with senior decision-makers in financial institutions.
• Actively pursuing and reporting stories at the intersection of banking and technology.
• Writing articles for the Bank Director magazine focused on key issues like strategy, regulations, risk management, and governance.
• Building relationships that foster exclusive content and insights.
• Generating innovative ideas for new projects, reports, and podcasts to grow our audience.

Additional Tasks

Your role will also involve various essential tasks such as:

• Serving as the lead editor for our bimonthly technology newsletter, with the potential for it to evolve into a weekly publication.
• Writing weekly journalistic articles of 750 to 1200 words for Fintech.com or Bankdirector.com
• Drafting research pieces, managing editorial styles, and engaging our audience on social media.
• Attending and traveling to conferences, meeting in our Brentwood office, and completing any other assigned tasks.
