Quandri has launched new integrations with Vertafore AMS360 and HawkSoft, extending its AI-powered renewal intelligence platform to two of the most widely used agency management systems in North America. Together with its existing Applied Epic integration, these additions bring Quandri’s renewal automation directly into the workflows of thousands of additional independent insurance agencies.
Independent agencies face mounting pressure from rising policy volumes, increased complexity, and growing client expectations. Scaling through headcount alone is no longer viable for most firms. Jackson Fregeau, CEO and co-founder of Quandri, emphasized that the industry is shifting toward automated, system-driven operations. He noted that AMS360 and HawkSoft agencies represent a substantial share of the independent market. These firms have previously lacked access to the renewal tools that Applied Epic users rely on.
Quandri Automates the Renewal Bottleneck
Policy renewals remain one of the most labor-intensive processes inside insurance agencies. Most of the work still runs manually, which limits the number of policies any team can meaningfully manage each cycle. The platform addresses this by embedding directly into the agency management system. Quandri’s platform analyzes renewal data, surfaces key policy insights, generates real-time quotes, and prepares context-rich renewal communications.
The Business Wire announcement confirmed that the platform handles policy checking, requoting, and client engagement workflows within the management system itself. Agencies do not need to switch between tools or export data into separate applications. This embedded approach reduces friction and keeps all renewal activity inside the system of record.
James Chapman, COO of Ausband Chapman Insurance, described Quandri as the first tool his firm has adopted in years that delivers this level of operational impact. His goal is 100% touch on renewals, and he credited the platform with making that target realistic. For agencies balancing AI automation with human expertise, the approach preserves the adviser relationship while eliminating repetitive manual steps.
AMS360 and HawkSoft Cover a Critical Market Segment
AMS360 and HawkSoft serve different segments of the independent agency market, but both platforms are widely adopted. AMS360 from Vertafore appeals to mid-size agencies that need strong built-in accounting integration. HawkSoft has earned loyalty among smaller agencies for its ease of use, transparent pricing, and responsive support. Applied Epic dominates at the larger end of the market, with deep carrier connectivity and multi-location capabilities.
Until now, the renewal automation platform only worked with Applied Epic. Adding AMS360 and HawkSoft removes that barrier for thousands of firms. Agencies on either platform can now access the same renewal intelligence that has driven results for Applied Epic users. Combined, the three-platform ecosystem covers the vast majority of independent agencies across the US and Canada. Applied Epic dominates among large agencies, while AMS360 appeals to mid-size firms with strong accounting needs. HawkSoft has earned loyalty among smaller shops for transparent pricing and ease of use. Serving all three segments gives the platform access to the full breadth of the independent channel.
Quandri’s Growth Trajectory Backs the Expansion
The Vancouver-based company, founded in 2021 by Jackson and Jamieson Fregeau, has scaled rapidly. FinTech Global reported that Quandri raised $12 million in its Series A round, bringing total funding past $20 million. Framework Venture Partners led the round, with participation from Intact Ventures, FUSE, and Defined Capital. Revenue grew 15-fold since the previous round in 2023. Its customer base expanded past 100 agencies and brokerages. Headcount increased from 15 to 75 employees, with plans to hire 40 more and open a new 15,000-square-foot Vancouver headquarters alongside the Boston expansion.
Marquee clients include BrokerLink, Western Financial Group, HomeServices Insurance, and BlueRidge Risk Partners. Quandri also earned recognition on the CB Insights InsurTech 50 as the only company focused specifically on agency renewals. Deloitte’s Fast 50 Companies-to-Watch list ranked Quandri eighth, reflecting strong growth in a competitive insurtech landscape. These milestones validate the platform’s approach to AI-driven quoting and servicing within the insurance vertical.
How Quandri’s Platform Creates Operational Leverage
Independent agencies face a structural problem. Personal lines policy volumes keep growing, but margins are tight and experienced staff are difficult to recruit. Quandri’s value proposition centers on enabling agencies to manage up to 10x more policies without adding headcount. Its platform achieves this by automating three core workflows: policy checking, policy requoting, and proactive client engagement.
Policy checking analyzes renewal data against configurable parameters set by the agency. Coverage limits, discount eligibility, and underwriting flags all flow through automated review. Requoting generates real-time competitive quotes to ensure clients receive the best available pricing at renewal. Connect handles outbound renewal communications, keeping clients informed and engaged without requiring manual outreach from advisers. Together, these capabilities increase retention rates, uncover cross-sell opportunities, and free staff to focus on advisory conversations rather than administrative processing.
HomeServices Insurance president and CEO Chris Rosati noted that Quandri has helped his firm operate more efficiently, improve client engagement, and redirect teams toward higher-value work. For agencies processing hundreds or thousands of personal lines renewals per month, each minute saved per policy compounds into meaningful capacity gains across the book.
This model mirrors a broader shift in agentic AI applications across financial services. Systems that operate within existing workflows and augment human judgment, rather than replacing it, consistently gain traction faster than platforms requiring agencies to overhaul their technology stack.
Integration Ecosystem Positions Quandri for Broader Reach
With Applied Epic, AMS360, and HawkSoft now connected, Quandri covers the three management systems that dominate the North American independent agency market. Combined coverage across all three systems positions Quandri to capture a much larger share of the renewal automation opportunity. BetaKit reported that the company is also opening a Boston office to serve its growing US client base, complementing its Vancouver headquarters.
Fregeau stated that agencies building scalable operations without expanding headcount will define the next decade of the independent channel. As Quandri extends its integration ecosystem and deepens its AI capabilities, the platform is positioned to become essential infrastructure for how North American insurance agencies handle renewals. With these integrations live, AMS360 and HawkSoft users now have the same tools that Applied Epic users and claims workflow automation providers rely on. They can now drive operational efficiency at the same scale.
