Global Principles for Sustainable Securities Lending Community Interest Company (Global PSSL CIC) is preparing to launch a new fintech and AI-based assessment tool for securities lending and financing. The subsequent rating – ABC Score® – awarded following this assessment will provide a clear measure of the organizations performance and offer recommendations for improvement.
The ABC Score® will take our recently announced Active Briefing Culture® to the next level in its goal of tracking progress toward greater transparency, accountability and sustainability among organizations that engage in securities lending and financing.
Confide Platform is Global PSSL’s external fintech partner and our Asset Owners Council joins as an internal partner to ABC Score®, which is the brainchild of Radek Stech (CEO of Global PSSL and founder of ABC Score® ).

Beyond this, we have begun to include our UN evaluators and have opened a new channel of communication with the University of Exeter to leverage our expertise on the project.
Radek Stech said: “Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to collect metrics and establish a measurable score is extremely exciting. This insightful scoring tool will offer a breath of fresh air to a sector that wants to measure its performance against transparency, accountability and sustainability goals, but lacks a stable, unbiased benchmark with which to do so. It’s also a great opportunity to help achieve asset owners’ goals.
Diandra Soobiah, Director of Responsible Investing at Nest, said on behalf of the Asset Owners Council: “The launch of the ABC Score® represents an important step in achieving the objectives of the Asset Owner Council. There is clear value in having data and analytics to help asset owners provide transparency on the role and performance of different institutions in the securities lending value chain. A framework providing useful information on a range of key metrics will support engagement and help develop a much-needed best practice standard for the market. We can’t wait to see how the tool evolves.
Pav Gill, Founder and CEO of Confide Platform, said: “The ABC Score® is a bold step in promoting sustainable finance. By integrating innovative technology with a focus on accountability, it provides organizations with a clear framework to measure and improve their practices. Partnering with Global PSSL on this initiative reflects our commitment to building trust and driving meaningful progress in the securities lending space.
Ivan Ćosović, founder of data group Breakout Point, said: “The ABC Score® benefits from the support of well-positioned players. With the PSSL Global Secretariat providing direction, the Asset Owners Council providing valuable guidance, and the Confide platform providing technical expertise, this unique partnership has the potential to truly succeed.
