Organized by Barcelona Expat Life, the 11th edition of the Work in Barcelona! Job Fair will take place on May 21 at the vibrant TIME OUT Market Barcelona in Vell Port. This annual event serves as a cornerstone of the city’s professional landscape, bringing together multilingual talent and some of the most sought-after employers in the region.

The Work in Barcelona! Job Fair happens twice a year, with the next edition scheduled for October 1st. This event offers a unique opportunity for multilingual professionals to explore the dynamic labor market in Barcelona, along with essential resources for successful relocation.

Focus on Fintech: A Concurrent Conference

This spring edition will feature the Work in the Fintech Conference, co-organized by BCN Fintech, highlighting Barcelona’s emergence as a leading European Fintech HUB. While the job fair covers a wide range of sectors, it especially emphasizes opportunities within technology and finance, reflecting the diverse interests of its participants.

The job fair is particularly beneficial for those seeking junior and intermediate-level roles and welcomes multilingual professionals, with attendees speaking a remarkable 70 languages, including English, Catalan, Spanish, French, German, and Dutch.

Located on the second floor of Maremàgnum, TIME OUT Market Barcelona will buzz with over 2,000 job seekers and 40 international companies, including notable firms like ADP, Appodeal, Computacenter, Lodgify, Nie.Cat, Sequa, and Barcelona Activa. Renowned universities, business schools, and international organizations in Barcelona will showcase this event to their students and members, highlighting its value to the community.

In addition to job and internship possibilities, the fair offers vital orientations on life and work in Barcelona, providing guidance on paperwork, housing, healthcare, and language learning.
