Oracle NetSuite Enhances AI Connector Service at SuiteConnect London
At the recent SuiteConnect London event, Oracle NetSuite unveiled significant updates to its AI Connector Service. These enhancements are tailored to assist finance teams in leveraging artificial intelligence while ensuring robust governance over sensitive financial data and processes.
The latest expansion introduces features that enable users to securely connect their preferred third-party AI models directly to NetSuite data, ensuring compliance and control.
Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice president at Oracle NetSuite, underscored the necessity of flexibility for contemporary businesses. He highlighted the platform’s commitment to delivering a highly intelligent and extensible system. As many organizations are already using AI assistants, the enhancements to the NetSuite AI Connector Service aim to facilitate a seamless and intuitive integration of AI with existing data and workflows.
Launch of the AI Connector Service Companion
A standout feature of the rollout is the new NetSuite AI Connector Service Companion. This tool aids external AI assistants in comprehending complex financial data, permissions, and specific NetSuite workflows, allowing for reliable AI utilization across various operations.
Key functionalities of the Companion include:
- No prompt engineering required: Users can access a curated Prompt Library featuring over 100 finance-specific templates aligned with NetSuite’s data structures and terminology.
- Standardized AI usage: ‘Skills’ provide pre-configured instructions designed specifically for NetSuite, ensuring consistent output across diverse teams and workflows.
- Role-based governance: By establishing access patterns linked to specific NetSuite roles—such as CFO, Controller, or Accounts Payable Analyst—this feature reduces risk and safeguards sensitive data.
Additionally, the latest update broadens access to the NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, allowing users to perform comprehensive forecasting and cross-system analysis utilizing historical and third-party data.
Yoto Expands with NetSuite’s AI-Driven ERP
In conjunction with these product updates, NetSuite spotlighted its ongoing partnership with Yoto, a London-based children’s audio platform. Yoto, which surpassed £100 million in annual revenue in 2025, is leveraging NetSuite’s AI-powered ERP system to consolidate its financial and operational data.
Founded in 2017, Yoto has swiftly grown across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and France. However, as the company expanded, outdated legacy systems hindered its ability to manage operations effectively and maintain visibility across the organization.
Ben Averis, CFO at Yoto, detailed the reasoning behind their decision to upgrade to a more robust system. He noted, “As a fast-growing global business, we required systems that could keep pace with our growth and support increasingly complex operations.” He highlighted that NetSuite provides the scalability necessary to support the company’s ambitions, enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making capabilities by offering a unified source of truth for all financial and operational data.
Yoto is now utilizing the NetSuite AI Connector Service to establish a secure connection between its consolidated data and a third-party large language model. By carefully defining the scope of the AI’s access through role-based permissions, the company has been able to automate financial tasks confidently while driving global business outcomes.
