Olyv Secures INR 207 Crore in Series C Funding
Personal lending platform Olyv, previously known as SmartCoin, has successfully raised INR 207 crore (approximately $23 million) in its recent Series C funding round.

The Series C funding round was prominently led by the Fundamentum Partnership Fund, with notable participation from the SMBC Asia Rising Fund. This substantial investment reflects the confidence these institutions have in Olyv’s growth potential.
Share Allotment and Investments
According to regulatory filings, Olyv’s board has approved the allotment of 10 equity shares and 88,265 compulsorily convertible series C preference shares at an issue price of INR 23,506 per share. The allocation will bolster the company’s funding total.
Fundamentum Partnership Fund has made a significant investment of INR 120 crore, while SMBC Asia Rising Fund added INR 87.5 crore. The capital raised will primarily be employed for general corporate purposes, facilitating Olyv’s expansion plans.
Shareholder Landscape Post-Funding
With this latest infusion of funds, Lightrock retains its position as the largest external shareholder, owning 22.43% of Olyv. The limits for other stakeholders include 11.48% for Fundamentum Partnership Fund, 8.37% for SMBC Asia Rising Fund, and 4.95% for 01VC Poseidon Fund. Olyv’s co-founders—Rohit Garg, Jayant Upadhyay, Vinay Kumar Singh, and Amit Chandel—collectively hold a 28.48% stake in the company.
