Agencies identified income growth (92%), data protection (91%), and fraud prevention (88%) as essential elements for financial stability. Additional priorities include treasury flows, billing improvements, talent management, and operational efficiency. These aspects reflect an ongoing necessity to safeguard profitability while navigating an increasingly intricate financial landscape.
Adapting to Economic Uncertainties
The pressures of economic uncertainty are palpable, with a notable 35% of clients grappling with internal advertising issues in 2025—a significant 20% increase from 2024. Despite a 32% increase in turnover compared to the previous year, teams are stretched to their limits amidst tightened budgets.
Cash Flow Management Challenges
Although 85% of survey respondents emphasized the significance of cash flows for financial health, many agencies struggle with its management. In 2024, 54% reported prolonged payment conditions from clients, while 36% anticipated ongoing cash flow disruptions, complicating spending and growth strategies.
The Role of AI and Automation
Seventy-one percent of agencies are currently leveraging AI in their financial operations, and 97% are open to integrating new automation tools. Among those employing these technologies, 80% have automated critical aspects of their finance functions, particularly payment processes. Enhanced AI tools help streamline key reconciliation tasks, which typically consume 30 to 40% of financial managers’ time.
